Clover Heart Pompom-Maker Giveaway!

Huzzah, it's time for another giveaway (open to US and International friends)! To reward you for your patience while I had my tiny blog hiatus, I am giving away something truly grand... a clover heart pom pom maker (size small)! If you haven't seen or heard about these wonderful gadgets, you can check out my review of them here; basically it allows you to make pompoms that are in the shape of hearts. Besides making hearts, I use mine to make these kawaii pompom chickens... so cute! The giveaway will run from March 25, 2011 to March 30, 2011 and the winner will be announced March 31, 2011

EDIT: Announcement will be late tonight, HI time (but still technically on the 31st for me, haha)... thanks so much everyone!!!

Spoonflower Project Selvage Entry

Have you guys heard about the Project Selvage contest? One of my FB friends let me know about it! It's a contest done with Spoonflower and Michael Miller... the contest is asking people to design a baby boy fabric. The grand prize winner will get $1000 and an all expenses trip to the International Quilt Market Fall 2011 in Houston, TX. But best of all, the winner will be asked to design 6 more coordinating fabrics for Michael Miller Fabrics! I found out about it a bit late (designs must be submitted to spoonflower by March 24) but luckily, I already had a design floating around in my head and therefore I also had a lot of the elements designed. Here's my entry on top it's called "happy ocean"... the bottom one is one that I also liked (but figured it might be harder to win with since it's larger scale and baby boys are small)! If you guys are interested in entering, go and design something quick!
